Welcome to our little corner of the internet, otherwise known as The Sh*tshow Chateaux! We're a blended family with seven kids, two grown-ups, a tiny little dog with the worst case of Napoleon Syndrome, and a whole lot of chaos. Our life is a patchwork: messy and wonderful, sometimes at the same time, stitched together with meals that work and ones that don't, trips we'll never forget and days we'd like to, the imperfect moments and everything in between. If you're craving real-life tales, honest reflections, and the kind of family moments that remind you you're not alone, you're in exactly the right place. Emmie, Atlas and Napoleon – That’s us: a rebuilt, work-in-progress marriage, one tiny dog with a giant ego and two adults just trying to keep everyone fed, loved and mostly on time.

Moose – My gentle giant and only biological son, more at home with a fishing rod or a spatula than any kind of ball, and proof that quiet kids still have big stories.

Lulu – An 11-year-old tornado of brains, beauty and chaos, competitive cheer and hip hop by day and unapologetic fart-comedy enthusiast by night.

Maverick – The oldest stepson with a sharp wit, a flexible relationship with rules and an unshakable belief that football is going to take him places.

Romy – A scrappy almost-15-year-old three-sport athlete who lives for a good joke, pushes the limits and still somehow has a hug ready when you need it.

Sparkle – Sparkle is our 13-year-old cheer girl and professional spotlight finder. She’s loud, dramatic and absolutely convinced life is better when she’s center stage.

Button – The 10-year-old baby of the bunch, sweet, snuggly, surprisingly athletic and mischievous enough that it’s a good thing he’s adorable.

Lexi – My 16-year-old firstborn, a girly main character in lip gloss and leggings who drives me up a wall and is still my forever ride-or-die.
